Knysna`s Golf Courses (Off Site)

The Southern Cape's Garden Route has, with good reason, been described as "the unchallenged golf coast of Africa". It offers an astonishing array of choices to suit players of any skills level and budget - from family-friendly mashie courses to championship courses designed by some of the world's greats. Just as importantly though, is the majestic setting of these courses.

Golfers are spoiled for choice with two championship golf courses within a short driving distance.

Simola Golf Course

Simola Golf and Country Estate has firmly cemented its place as one of Africa’s premiere golfing destinations. The Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course was designed by the legend himself and, as the first on the continent and still only one of three in Africa, remains a favourite amongst professionals, seasoned players and those who enjoy a challenging yet fun game now and then.

Pezula Championship Golf Course

Located on the Garden Route in the picturesque town of Knysna, Pezula Championship Course is undoubtedly one of the world’s most beautiful 18 holes.With sweeping ocean and lagoon views, a round at Pezula is both a sporting and visual experience. As a Top 20 South African ranked course, Pezula’s championship design offers a challenge for the seasoned golfer while still being the perfect day out for any skill level.

Knysna Golf Club

Our 18-hole course features many tidal pools and inlets with magnificent indigenous trees and a wide variety of bird-life. The flat terrain offers easy walking both with or without a trolley – but don’t be deceived! Long par-5s, imposing par-3s and some challenging par-4s, make it an enjoyable but thought-provoking test for players of all levels. It’s a challenging links/parkland layout which has been upgraded and enhanced over the past 10 years. The course boasts some of the finest greens in the Southern Cape and its many natural hazards and scenic location adds to its charm and visual appeal.
